FLYING MEADOW
Design and realisation of a private terrace in China Town’s district – Milan. A terrace that looks like an idyllic corner in the heart of the city. The raising of a floor of the building provided the opportunity to create a roof garden, with the installation of a waterproof basin containing approximately 50 cm of substrates over the entire surface. This made it possible to design a real open-air garden on the top floor, with a composition of lawn, shrubs, perennials and real trees. The star of this space is undoubtedly the large wisteria, which, in addition to covering the pergola under which the homeowners usually linger during the warmer months, descend along the façade, providing a splash of colour throughout the year.
